Refunds and cancellations

Scope

This policy applies to paid Sparklatticebase engagements: visibility assessments, trade lane reviews, in-transit mapping cycles, and exception briefing retainers. It does not cover goods retail or software subscriptions, which we do not sell.

Deposits

Project work typically requires a deposit stated in the quote (often 40% of the fixed fee) before document collection begins. Retainer briefings are invoiced monthly in advance.

Cancellation by the client

  • If you cancel before kickoff and before we have opened document review, we refund the deposit in full within 14 business days.
  • If work has started (interviews scheduled or samples reviewed), we refund the unused portion after deducting time already spent at the quoted daily rate, with a minimum deduction of 20% of the project fee.
  • Monthly retainers cancelled with at least 14 days’ notice before the next billing date are not charged for the following month. The current month is non-refundable once briefing work for that period has begun.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule interviews or briefings once at no charge with at least five business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of ฿3,500 to cover preparation reset.

No-shows

Missed interview or briefing slots without 24 hours’ notice are treated as delivered time and are not refundable.

Work already started and materials

Draft scorecards, interview notes, and analysis already produced remain billable. Third-party costs we incur at your request (for example paid data extracts) are non-refundable once purchased.

Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 business days of written approval. Bank transfer fees charged by intermediaries are deducted where applicable.

Exceptions

If Sparklatticebase cancels an engagement for reasons other than client breach, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work.
